13 Vows You Have Never Heard

Many couples decide either not to write their own wedding vows or to use pre-written vows and their own personal wedding vows.

We all know the traditional wedding vows:

Alex, do you take Sam to be your lawfully wedded wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish for as long as you both shall live?

...which are beautiful, by the way. But not everyone feels drawn to these vows and want something a little more meaningful to their relationship.

Because couples are encouraged to find ways to make their wedding ceremony meaningful, here is a list of 13 wedding vows that you probably haven’t heard.
